vaporizers

so, with spring almost here, I am considering smoking pot again. I havent smoked regularly in about a year - I just needed a break. I like to spend alot of time outside in nice weather, so being high just works better. Being cooped up inside on some stoner's couch listening to bad music just bothers me - I get overly self-analytical...I need quiet and fresh air and sunlight when I am stoned. Nevertheless, I am looking to try something new - a vaporizer comes to mind.

Besides the lack of tarry smoke, what other benefits are there? Is the high really better?

Do you guys recommend any vaporizers in particular?

vapor brothers - you can get em for $140 online

no stink
no cough
less matter use
nice buzz
less red eye
less cotton mouth/bad breath

I know the smell from a vap is distinctly different from when you smoke it, but can the inexperience still identify it as marijuana odor?

You can find cheapo ones for 40 bucks that work just great.

Personally Vapo'ing is great, but the time is less than desireable.  You need 10-20 minutes--so dont expect to vap and run.

I use to use the vapo in dorms with the door open even...no one ever could smell a thing...a little herbal but nothing a little air freshner will rid of.

VB one is ready to roll in minutes.

turn it on, feed the dog, ready.

I'm not trying to "SELL" the VB one at all.

Its the only one I have experience with.

I'd pay $140 again in a heart beat

Sums it up nicely. Or if you want to go slightly cheaper, Aromazap is nice as well if you have steady access to high quality herbs (small bowl). Don't go cheaper than that though, and be sure to get a convection vaporizer, and avoid conduction vaporizers at any cost!

I'll never go back to smoking! :sun:

my friend bought the Vapir for around 200. a little pricey but very versitile and has a lot of options. if you have ever smoked from a hookah or ate pot brownies, that is the high you get from a vaporisor. it is definately a more mellow high. my friend never uses it because he prefers smoking through bongs and such. I personally love the thing and it would be amazing outdoors. they even have a portable one. It definately feels is a more healthy high

The only vapo I have expirience with is the volcano. Its pretty cool but seems like more of a novelty than something I would add to my line up.

One plus is you actually TASTE the bud. Its amazing the difference between regular blazing and using the volcano. Bud that you thought tasted excellent in your pipe tasted completely different(and much better, in some cases) in the vapo.

Time really wasnt a problem. The beast was quick. It was ready to roll in maybe 5 minutes and filled up the jumbo bags with haze in like 30 seconds. One thing I didn't like about it was in big circles, you had to refil the bag 4 or 5 times before it would go all the way around, but thats taking massive rips.

The major plus was that it got you stoned. Retarded.

Id like to have one, but it will never replace blunts.

Aromazap is bad.

VaporBrothers is midline.

Volcano is king.

The lower end you won't get the nice tastes pstupid mentions.

If you have the money, get the volcano. Don't settle for the aromazap. You'll not find it as enjoyable as the VaporBrothers.

Aromazap = Convection

I've used both Aromazap and vaporbrothers and they are both great imo.
I'm sure the Volcano is the best of the best, but I wouldn't pay the price and the whole balloon thing isn't that attractive to me for some reason.
