dehydrator
    #3931335 - 03/17/05 04:25 PM (19 years, 1 month ago)

I have 95 F dehydrator which is the lowest temp it can go.  Well this destroy the alkaloids or I should say destroy them any more then drying them at room temp? Thanks in advance

Disconnect the heater element - then it'll work great.

You guys haven't seen any loss of potency with 95 degree dehydration?

Nadda bit. Perfect - every time. You don't know what "cracker dry" is until you have/use a American Harvest dehydrator. Best made.

I can dry 4+ish ounces cracker dry in about 12 hours or just over.

Check out this dehydrator. Adjustable Thermostat 85-145 degrees F!
There's a cheap version(2400 model) for $109, but I think it's worth it.

i have and american harvest. i usually dry mine at 115 and have noticed no loss of potency. for me the time factor has been an issue so the higher temp seems a bit faster, but thats just me.
