outdoor growing

Hey i live in oregon, its hella rainy around here most of the time, I was wondering if i got some vermiculite and made a little bed or something and put some spores in what luck ya'll might guess id have, or if i did the same thing inside.

The best way to go about it would be to start off a PF style tek. cake (brown rice flour and vermiculite) and then use this to spawn some kind of outdoor growing medium.

yeah ive looked at some of those grow guide things and they all seem hella complicated...i have a bunch of spores from a 1/2 O of shrooms my friend got, so therefore i don't have a syringe or any of that...what would be the easiest way to do the PF tek or whatever....no what would be the EASIESt way to grow shrooms?

It might work.

there are better outdoor methods that would give you better results.

I'm not sure but it might be a little late in the season to start an out door bed. I could be wrong.

una has a good pictorial of how he made his out door bed that i think i might try. so check una posts.  I would recomend you try a simpler indoor tek first.

The simplest teks are mmgg or pf tek. I would recomend that you read a many teks as you can before you decide.  read them twice.

I would suguest brf cakes, case in wet vermiculite, with perlite terrium. to start out. but some might say this is to advanced for first timers.

ok i read through the PF tek, i just need to know, is there a good way to get the spores in the jar w/out a syringe, and, will spores from dried shrooms work. Also in step 1 of the pf tek it says to mix the rice, water, and vermiculite up and what not, then step 2 says fill the jar up, that part is very unclear. If anyone could help out itd be great

dudes im totaly new at this stuff, iv been reading and reading for like 5 hours on this stuff but what does PF mean?? and do i have to use brown rice flour or can i use white?

My suggestion is if you a first time grower to follow the Magic Mushroom Grower's Guide (MMGG) tek to the letter. It is dumbed down about as far as it can get. It's laid out in simple, easy to understand instructions and gives locations of hard to find materials. It's the tek I first used and I successfully cultivated 4 out of 4 jars of verm and BROWN rice flower with no contams. I bought a spore syring of Koh Samui from the Hawk's eye, I definately would reccommend them as a great place to buy spores by the way. Just be sure you don't get creative and improvise. If it specifies Ball canning jars then go with Ball not some other brand even if you have to order them, it's for the best. I'm pretty stoned and I'm probably rambling but that would be my best advice

Hmm, your best bet would be to grow Ps. cyanescens since you live in oregon. Your chance of fruiting crumbs of Ps. cubensis outdoors in Oregon is very minimal. However, with those wavy caps, you might be able to get them to germinate on wet cardboard or woodchips and then you could start a bed.

PF (Psilocybe Fanaticus) is the name of a tek that uses a mixture of BRF (brown rice flour), vermiculite, and water. The substrate (mixture) is sterilized and inoculated (injected) with a spore suspension in a syringe.
The spore suspension must be of high quality with few contaminates. Spores from a dry cap would not work because they are mixed with too many contams.
White rice is a poor substitute for brown rice.
