The lighting fixture is fine. Mushrooms do not need light for energy but they use it for a sense of direction. There is no such thing as too little light.Ecuador is a fast colonizer and potent shroom, very good choice for a first timer. Spore print is done on a sterile peice of paper or other material. The paper or other material can either be heated in the oven for 30 minutes at 250 degrees or cleaned with some rubbing alchol. It is important to hardly touch the paper if at all after this point. Simple cut the cap with as little stem as possible from the mushroom and place on the paper. Cover with a cup or bowl and let it sit and drop its spores for 24 to 48 hours. Remove the glass or bowl and cap, fold up paper or other material and tape all edges. Sterilization is important for a clean print that will work. A terrarium is simple to make. Most tupperwares bought from stores come with airtight lids and will only need a added humidity deviece (wet perlite [easy] or ultra-sonic humidifier [harder]) and possible a setup for air exchange (holes with filters [easy] or air pump system [harder]). It is important to give the mushrooms atleast seven hours of light per day inside the terrarium. This could simply be achieved by taking off the lid for several minutes. I hope I answered all of your questions correct.
