Well, there's my salvia trip report I link to in my sig...other than that I don't have any on me since I'm visiting home and it's all at my apartment. I just have a bunch of short fiction and poetry.

Yeah, I think so. Let me check on my pc. A lot of the longer stuff I only have in hard copy.

Most of my recent stuff is non-fiction, mostly politics stuff. Not as interesting to most people, but I eat that shit up.

I'm not big into poetry. Some of it's good, I can't say I don't like it completely. Stories are good. Everyone loves stories.

I kind of worked all the poetry out of my system last spring..now I only really want to write narratives, good stories. Anyone see Million Dollar Baby? Now that's a fucking good story.

Familiar

All too familiar,
Everyday, the same-old, same-old,
Faceless figures, hurrying nowhere,
Never Stopping,
Trying to find their nameless goal,
Busily, part of the hive,
Void of emotion, Void of Feeling,
One of many, a piece of the picture,
But for who are we toiling for?
That is the question that I ask,
When I wake in the morning,
As I hurry aimlessly,
When I rest during the night,
Why, and Who are we doing this for?
I have no answer,
As no one else does either,
Until we discover it,

Loneliness

The of silence,
Slowly eating away at my soul,
The deafening silence,
Is like the pounding of a jackhammer,
Slowly chipping away at the concrete of my consciousness,
There are people,
But only their superficial outwards are present,
Like a machine yearning for oil,
They squeak meaninglessly, only to hear their own noises,
Constantly bickering,
To make a point that will never be recognized,
Their perpetual droning fade away, thankfully,
And I am alone

Reality

How would it be to live in a permanent reality?
Never feeling the wonderful,
Never grasping your hopes,
Only attempting the guaranteed,
Afraid to defy logic and real-life,
You are a slave of time,
Constantly sinking deeper into the quicksand of tedious doings,
Forgetting your life, living for the chore,
No hope for the past or the future,
Knowing the latter will be the former,
What you want the most, you could never have,
The dreams and the life you desire,
You know you will never hold as your own

Yeah you really have to be able to laugh at yourself if you're going to
a) write poetry
b) read the poetry you've written a whiiiile ago
and especially
c) show it to other people

Yeah that's what I love about writing, it helps you learn about yourself. I mean, no matter what you write, it's a reflection of you, and you end up exposing yourself to things about yourself you might not have otherwise even known existed.

Well it's not even for just poetry, novels etc... I've looked at saved chats etc... from five years ago and back and it would seem like a totally different person wrote them. Good times though.

I always set my computers to automatically save IM conversations not because I'm an obsessive psycho who needs to log everything but cause I love when that rainy bored stoned day rolls around and I can read them all.

I myself have a small writing project that I have been working on for about a year. It's only about 35 pages long. I get into moods where I wanna write so I just go nuts, but that only for a day or two. So its a long term project.

The story itself is fictional but with factual information on the use of entheogens. It's about a young guy who leaves home and befriends a shaman. I would call it a journal, but its not dated or such. The young boy helps the old shaman with laborous work and such and is rewarded with a place to live and an introduction into the use of entheogens.

The young boy, Mubala takes his first trip on mescaline, he experiences very potent hash oil, psilocybin mushrooms, many different strains of cannabis, kava and many others to come.

The setting for story is kind of strange, the world has taken a strange transformation, a combined conscious decision came to be through the use of a world wide meditation. Our reality is created by a type of universal energy, during the meditation, the combined will of enough pure and truth seeking souls were able to actually alter reality as we know it. Life started over again, people awoke naked on the ground, they were no more cities, cars, pollution or computers.
People lived as indigenous cultures had lived for centuries and things seemed to be taking a turn for the best.

I wish I could put up one of the chapters but I unfortunately don't have an updated copy on my computer :smile:
