I'm around, I'll be here for a while, though I might take a 2 hour break to watch Tomorrow Never Dies.

I've been pretty good - I'll be a lot better once my mom gets to bed (she's on her way there right now) and I can finally pack a fat batty bowl and get where I wanna be. As far as life goes I'm good, kinda scared of finishing this last semester of college. Don't know what I'm doing.

My major is English and American Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing. I mean, I know what I want to do in the lofty-goal sense: write a novel, write a screenplay, inform some minds the way writers like HST and Paul Auster and what not informed mind.

But I need like, a job right now. I want to go to Japan to teach English next summer but I need a job to fill the time between now and then.

I'm in school for political science, but what I'm gonna use it for is writing, just like you.

That's excellent that you want to write novels. It's nice to see I'm not the only person out there who wants to write for a living.

I read something Kerouac wrote, or maybe it was Hemingway, gah I dunno, about people questioning whether or not they were writers...I think it was Kerouac actually, and he was saying how you just know when you're a writer because you can't keep it all inside and you're always writing in your head. I went through a big long bad block recently, took a pot break to kickstart myself and I've beenwriting again now, it feels fucking great. Maybe after I smoke in a bit I'll whip out the old pad and pen.

Hell yes, I've always known I was gonna be a writer. I never have the problem of writer's block, my problem is getting 30-40 pages into something then getting bored.

Yeah when I'm not blocked that's definitely the problem. I never finish anything, and I tend to really hate editing so I just drop things and move on.
