 Temp for fastest mycellium growth

Alright I followed the tek for the vermicullite brown rice flower cakes and there just chillin in my dorm room right now the temp is about 70. I was wondering what temperature is best for Mycellium growth there seems to be some ambiguity between the different teks. The strand im attempting grow is B+. Thanks

I found that temps tended to vary too much with a heat pad, and my TiT only cost $20

I use a small portable room heater and it works realy well at bringing up the temperature. It only cost me $30 and it has too heat settings, 750W and 1500W, the 750 W setting is enough to bring the temperature of the room to 83-84 degrees. Mind you, I'm not spending any time in the room at all while the heater's running, too hot.

yeah I just bought the heat pad but how am i supposed to tell if its the correct temp I think that TiT is probably the best bet. And also how long should it take to see some mycellium growth Ive got B+ and PES Hawwaian its been three days and still no sign but for the first two days the temp was about 70-75.

it can be a few weeks before you see growth, it can also be as little as a few days, to handle your temp testing, make sure its empty put your thermometer in
and wait a 4-5 hours, check it and adjust accordingly, you may have to repeat the steps and with a heating pad, you may want to use a timer and some sheet rock to make sure you dont scorch your floor.. I learned that one the hard way.

Tub in Tub. One large tub with water in it and four cups/jars in it. Fill with water about 4-7 inchs. Put fish heater in it. Put second tub on top of that and BAM you got yo self a TIT! TIT TIT TIT TIT TIT!
Mine sits at a perfect 85.9 for five days and I have growth like a monkey on crack! YAY!
Do a search under post archives or grow logs. I recomend everyone read the grow logs, like ALL of them. You get good learnin that way.

i just use my computer itself as a heating hcamber, just took a little experimenting and it stays around 81-85 degrees, didnt cost a pennt either, can keep up to 7+, 1/2 pint jars, depending on tower size. My mycellium are almost done covering cake after day 9

that computer chamber seems like a good idea,,
im new at this, just got the spores, read alot, and im probably going for the TIT... looks really simple and seems to work just fine.. kind of nervuos and ansious, lol.. dont wanna screw anything up...
