my gf was using her oven as a workplace to innoculate right, well the stupid bitch let her hw get hot. will this harm her myc or spores? shes a little worried!

She was innoculating over the oven rack that was pulled out of the stove while the heat was on high? I don't know how hot it got there, but if the temp got over 100 then they are probably dead. I don't think that they died though, because they weren't actually "in" the oven.

crap. I did a stupid thing guys. I folded a moist print in heavy duty aluminum foil. drunk, trying to
dry it out I ran my iron over the foil a few times. you think I killed my spores?

Absolutely 100% yes. Also did you SERIOUSLY have to bump a 12 year old thread to ask this question? Even if you say yes I won't believe you. That's ridiculous. It even says in this thread the approx temperature of thermal spore death. Did you even read it before bumping it? No you just expect some chump like me to sit here and explain it.

who cares of it's old. still relevant.
I ordered a new syringe of spores. in the meantime I have two
freshly pcd wbs jars and I'll try innoculating them for the hell of it
no harm I suppose and a good lesson learned
