I downloaded acid pro just to mess around with. I've had it a long time ago and it seems really complicated. I remember I had a bunch of beats on it from what my brother downloaded. Does anyone know how I can get the beats? they was a bunch of techno noises I think :confused:

By the way, i'm using the newest version of Kazaa. which in my oppinion sucks a great amount of balls.

i found acid really complicated at first too..
but yeah it has some cool futures,
but i dont use it a lot

I use Acid 5.0 for recording, not for the loop based method you speak of. But back when I had Acid 2.0 I had tons of loops and shit...I actually still have them all, I guess I could somehow send them to you, but I wouldn't know how because all of them together would probably be a HUGE file(1.35GB!) Would it be possible to send that much shit over an email? Maybe by compressing it? I don't know, think of a way and I'll do it.

Try looking under the Sonic Foundry folder in your C drive for the loops....they should be there.

www.yousendit.com let's you send 1GB files, I guess you'd have the split it into 2 files.

harbinger, what kind of compression are you using? regular wave? I compressed about 5GB of samples, loops, and other misc noises into about 1.4GB with monkey's lossless audio codec, back when i didn't have a DVD burner i had to get them onto CDs and it worked great. also a high bitrate MP3 or OGG might work well too, as long as you keep the high and low ends from getting jacked.
