A perfect hack for a guy with a 15gb Laptop
    #3835342 - 02/26/05 01:21 AM (12 years, 6 months ago)

I don't have a huge harddrive, so I lean towards minimalism when it comes to data storage. So when I go my gmail accounts setup as storage drives, I was kind of happy. Granted it's only one gig of space but if you use your invites for harvesting new accounts you can use it to your advantage.
check it

Just remember-its against the Gmail terms of service, so I hope you have a backup. If Google decides to crack down on it, your data is gone.

I just skimmed through it, and as far as I can tell it's not breaking any rules. Unless the data is fardulent, or illegal etc...

Gmails Terms of Use

"You shall not, shall not agree to, and shall not authorize or encourage any third party to: (i) use the Service to upload, transmit or otherwise distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene, contains viruses, or is otherwise objectionable as reasonably determined by Google; (ii) upload, transmit or otherwise distribute content that infringes upon another party's intellectual property rights or other proprietary, contractual or fiduciary rights or obligations; (iii) prevent others from using the Service; (iv) use the Service for any fraudulent or inappropriate purpose; or (v) act in any way that violates the Program Policies, as may be revised from time to time. "

The question is whether this is an inappropriate purpose.

Hmm...sounds pretty grey area to me. The thing is he's not allowing a 3rd party to use his account, he's using his account with third party software.
