Does God exist? A Poll.

well, i was reading on the internet, and came across something called the "yogurt shop murders" took place about 1990 in texas... really really horrible thing to read about, i couldn't believe it. made me wonder, as i always do, and things like this make me question a higher power. what do you think?

Yes, I believe in God but I also believe it plays no role in our daily lives. I don't believe in divine intervention, I don't believe in fate, I don't believe any of that shit. I do, however, believe that there are genuinely good people out there and you can see god in nature, the undying affection of an animal or the smile of a child. I believe in a creator but that's about it!

In the minds of human beings, indeed.

It fills a void. The unknown becomes known in a semi-recognisable form. The human mind constantly seeks to recognise/understand.

The unknown is just as nice a place. All knowledge so far points to randomness (evolution, mutation). I stay open to the possibility but I don't think it is likely based on current knowledge.


God is a word with varying definition, I speak in terms of a creator.

if you believe yourself to be an individual then yes, a God exists that controls everything that happens to you. if you realize the truth than no, nothing exists but you.

I believe in the devine.
The "Creator" if you will.
Closer to the Native American belief than anything else.
But, like mantis said, this creator really has nothing to do with this life.
The afterlife, yes.
This life is to expereince these emotions, not worship the Creator.

i choose not to answer cause god is not what people like to think of him as in my opinion....and directly not the creator of organisms but possibly inderictly...could just be a fictional figure of the best sellin book of all time but untill i find out i think of him as somebody who will be there in the heart cause god is who you make him
