wierd growth on puertos

on 8 of 10 of my 100% colonizes puerto rican jars there is a fuzzy white mass at the point of inoculation.. its definetly not contamination. has anyone ever seen this trait? its probably there is just a mass of spore growth there huh.. got the PR's from ralph... they colonized faster than any others i have ever grow..them and the t3's....thanks all.........

I've seen this, it's called mycelia.

It's probably just slight water damage from the concentrated mycelial network 'breathing' CO2..it will possibly take on a light yellow color, often referred to as mycelium piss..do a search for that and you will find plenty of info on it. It's nothing to worry about, and it's not a contamination...

thanks for the serious answer hatter... i know it will be ok, just looks odd...do they need to be birthed now or can i wait until say, monday? they are taking on a slight yellow tint... thanks again..

Funny you should say that, but generally when i first get germination, it looks like that - my PRs germinated two days ago, with that fluffy texture.
