discussion on Walking downhill...
    #3820526 -

I challenge anyone here to walk downhill, in a cool manner. I have foud that it is impossible, without a cane/staff/walking stick. If you can show proof of being able to walk at a greater than 25 degree incline, while maintaining a cool outward appearance, i will award some prize. It will be as useless as this challenge but maybe something like: a theatre 3D display of Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider.

Cool is highly subjective, though.  I've seen people walk down a hill pretty cool-like.  I've even done it myself.  But I agree, most of the time, I feel like I look like some kind of lanky, uncoordinated fool walking down a hill

Ok, but i think we can all agree that the stroll is a pretty basically cool walk. Strolling is not really having any place to go and just ejoying your mobility, usually with your hands in your pockets. I have tried strolling downhill, no matter how far you lean back, you will come off as uncoordinated and jagged stepping, if you try to take it too slow, you look like your grandmother trying to get on a horse.

Hahahaha. Definitely.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.
