web cam question

does anyone know of any good links on how to view a webcam from my other computer, in the other room on a different computer... so i can watch the cats in thier natrual habitat...  i figure i would need some sort of media stream to do this, but not quite sure what to look for...  google is only as good as what you search for  :crazy:

There's plenty of software about, but I can't think of any off the top of my head for windows...  What you CAN do is set it up for something like Yahoo! or MSN, though it will be pretty tiny.  If nothing else, though, that will work :smile:

However...  I think you will find not much difference.  I find cats can and will act like you don't exist and just go about their lives.  Remember, You provide food, love, and shelter to a dog, they think you are god; you provide food, love, and shelter to a cat, they think they are a god.
