once the jars have been innoculated should i put tape over the nail holes? or no? also where can i read about the details of making a big rubbermaid container into a terrarium? the mmgg talks about a styrofoam container, but i was thinking about just putting plastic wrap over the top. will this work?

Yes. Fan the air out 3-4 times a day manualy.
