My Weekend (Jammages!!) - Edition 2

My weekend started with my first pirate training lesson on Friday. The ship looks totally awesome and I can't wait to ram bitches with it.

On Saturday, me and the performance band I'm in, put on an awesome show. We made of wall of sound with the ten tube-amps and high wattage digital amps we had. Unfortunately the electrical outlets could not support the amount of electricity needed to power the wall amps and one the bassists and I were both mildly electrocuted. I was more shocked by the overall surprise of being electrocuted than I was by the actual electricity. The bassist however was electrocuted more than me. His whole arm was twitching and veins in his arm throbbed. In both instances, we were electrocuted merely by touching our guitar?s strings, so it is my belief that the electricity traveled from the overloaded socket into our amps into our guitar pickup?s, into guitar strings, and finally into our arms. This is my first time experiencing any form of electrocution by our band?s equipment, so I have no idea how it actually happened. Either way, neither of us were electrocuted severely enough that we were unable to play, and we ended up putting on an awesome show. By the end of our performance, both of our hands felt fine. We closed off the performance with a 15 minute jam on fire on the mountain with an awesome sax, trumpet, drums, and guitar solo.

I went to the most bitchtastic concert ever. Phil Lesh and Friends with Umphrey?s McGee as the opener. The concert included: An awesome set, an awesome Mardi Gras parade, half a joint (first time I've used papers) that I bogarted, two bitches who were shunned (they were even bigger bogarts than me and were the cause of the missing first half of the joint), tons of jammages, a green glowstick, balloons-a-plenty, and more awesome jammages.

It turned out to be an awesome weekend.
