I work with this guy that met hicks on a few occasions in the 80s - he just told me about this the other week. my co-worker (older dude) used to be involved in the stand-up comedy scene and worked at the FunnyBone headquarters in St. Louis. He did alot of the bookings for the FunnyBones (big nation-wide chain of comedy clubs) across the country and talked/met up with Hicks as well as other comics from the era.
