New Painting... Delyrium

Im beat. Just finished for the night. Needs a lot of work, but I like the feel of it right now. I slopped the shirt in cause Im tired. I pincched her nose too much but I have to wait for it to dry to do anything else. Hope you enjoy

The red is undecided upon. I may actually kick it up a bit more. Im not going for flesh tones, thats no fun. I like to play around with em a bit :wink:

Just to clarify, I wasn't saying I didn't like the red. It's just that it looked like you added the red today and were waiting to add the other colors.

Theres actually more colors there than the picture shows. The flash kinda made all the lightest areas blend and turn white. There are a lot of details that are very faint. Its hard to get girls faces down good for me. All the soft subtle curves look flat in photos and its hard to paint so subtely as well.

Your right though, I do think that things need to be worked up.

I don't quite like how there is a significant portion of the face that is pretty much 100% white (camera flash?), it flattens the face and draws attention to the fact that it was painted from a photo. I'd like to see quite a bit more subtle change of value in the face.

EDIT: It is shaping up to be a quite nice painting, though. Not trying to hate on your work, Just thought you might like some constructive criticism.
