cleaning my pipe

Ever had a pipe so clogged with resin it was un-hittable.. Well yep, that is how mine is.. I have not cleaned it in a few months- add that to almost daily smoking and you get some thick as lard resin..

I've got it soaking in a jar of isopropyl alcohol for now, and even though the alcohol has turned brown, the walls are still caked with resin..
My next step I think will be to go at it with a coathanger, let it soak some more, use the salt shaker method, etc, until it is clean..
This is no quick task, it will probably take a whole day of soaking to get clean...
Word of advice- don't let your pipes build up so much!

there is so many months of buildup I am contemplating evaping this iso and trying the resin..

But why would I smoke resin when I have a couple hash bars and some loose kiff to smoke :smile: Maybe I will do it and save it... or smear it on a blunt wrap and roll it up with some mids or something..
Either way, resin= :puke:
But I will admit, with zero tolerence, resin get you hella high, and is really not that bad..

I can't... I have to remain discreet .. Coming along nicely, it is not taking as long as I thought.. I can actually begin to see through some parts of the pipe


The alcohol went from brown
to deep amber
to almost black now..

Update- CHA CHING- clean as a whistle.. This bitch is shinin bright..

I can't wait to take a hash hit and not be overwhelmed by unwanted resin hits!!! Haha, resin hits suck when you don't intend them.
There is one little chunk of resin stuck on the inside of the bowl, but I decided to say fuck it, cause if 5 hours of soaking, rinsing, and Q-tip action wont clean it, nothing will(short of the A-bomb)

Im poor and my weed is limited. I also like the taste of resin. Does anyone know a good way to get all/most/alot of the resin out and still be able to smoke it?

90% Iso alcohol soak, evap that then scrape the resin off the container. Scraping the bowl with paperclips, coathanger, whatever also helps. Just pile it all up, roll into a ball and enjoy. A buddy of mine made a brownie with the resin he collected from his pipe and said it was a nice high.

I did that, I don't think I ever smoked it though. I got a bunch of it.

Coca-Cola works really well. Just let it soak for awhile and it tends to come clean. I use rubbing alcohol sometimes as well.

MMM resin! too bad I cant smoke it..I seen a bag of some good dank today when I got my shrooms..oh it looked nice..he never let me smell it...that is the first time I seen weed for a while since my 2.5 months without weed..but shrooms are nice ahh yea... :mushroom2:
