You do these in oil? Cause I just have to say: Damn, I hate cleaning oil paints out of brushes... Anyway

Paintings look good; no falling into the usual traps of photo translations. Very nice :thumbup:

I used to be a studio aid.  :smile:
This lady would have me come in on fridays from 3 to 6 and clean up all her shit from a weeks worth of painting and stuff.
paid really good too, 10 bucks no tax

lemme know if you need a studio assistant. :wink:

TinTree, yeah I do em in oils and yeah I hate cleaning brushes. I found a good trick to make the process a little easier though. After a quick turpentine rinse and whipe to get the mass of the paint off, you use vegitable oil to get the rest out. Somehow it sucks the paint right out. Then I just do a final wash with dish soap. Screw expensive brush cleaning fluids :thumbup: still a hassel, but oh well

Blacksabbathrules... B.J. is my real name, kinda. Thats what everyone including my parents call me, so I just like to spell it out for kicks.

Im glad everyone is digging the work, I cant wait to get some more done. Thanks for all of your kind words everyone. Keeps me painting. You all rock ass :wink:

Indeed. She is a stone fox. I cant wait to paint her portrait. I think her and 13eetlejuice are up for tommorows session. Hers is going to be hard to do. Smooth faces are harder for me than rough ones. The lines in a face make it easier to make convincing rederings. To do a delicate female portrait takes some finess. I will try and do you justice Delyrium. We shall all see how it turns out tommorow I suppose.

I love this project. I wake up everyday thinking I want to paint. Its been a long time since I've had this feeling. I just wish I could lock myself up for a few months and do nothing but paint. Stupid work. Stupid school. Bah! Oh well I just have to make do for now. I wish I could paint now, but its late and Im probably tired underneath my excitement. I'll get a good night sleep tonight and get to work early in the morning. Look out for more to come tommorow.

send picture now. I am trying to get 50 paintings base coated as soon as possible. Within a month Im aiming for. Then I wil begin doing the detail work on them. yeah these ones are not done yet. They look a bit better in the photos than they do in real life. I also want to get them more detailed. The hair needs to be worked up more and tiny details that no one will notice must be added hehe. so much work to do, its great. So yeah send me some pics. Im not doing these in any particular order, so you might see yourself sooner than you think :wink:
