Hydroponic stores/websites are cheapest...pet shops like Petco have it though. Called things like Eco Earth and Bed A Beast.. Dont bother asking people or stores if they carry it, most will look at you funny. Check the retile bedding section yourself. Its a hard brown brick.

pet stores are where I get it...and lil tip...if you ever have extra DON"T throw it away..put it in the oven and save it...I also dehydrate my brick right after being decompressed with water at 170 convection...this way you don't have to worry about it going bad by staying wet and it aborbs water very quickly unlike the compressed bricks

Admin\Mods this should become a sticky item !

Petsmart and Petco both carry it . You can find it in the reptile department. Is is called BED A BEAST and can be bought for about 5$ a brick . A brick will do many a casings . Here is a pic of the stuff you are looking for .

If you by some cahnce have none of thees stores , look in phn book for pet shops that specialize in reptiles they most certainly will have it or will order it for you .

The petco I went to had it but it was called Eco Earth and I had to ask just about everyone in the store before somebody actually looked it up in their computer and noticed that none was stocked... luckly they had some in the back room... but yea, reptile section is where its at
