Anyone notice McDonalds marketing towards minorities a lot

The last im lovin it commercial I saw had a bunch of hispanic kids enjoyin the dollar menu, and the one before that was a group of black guys laughin about throw pillows or something while eatin quarterpounders. Before that it was a black guy deciding what to buy off the $ menu for his girlfriend.

The slogan, too. It's all in lower case and spelled wrong, like theyre trying to appeal to their stereotype of what a "minority" likes.

Maybe I watch too much tv.

There is a commercial with a bunch of white kids trying to fix a grill acting like wiggers too
but I think you are trying to think to hard
there are a lot more commercials with people other than minorities

yea but I'm just talkin about recent mcdonald's commercials. Theres been a trend. Im not the only one who thought this tho, I mentioned it to my roomate, who's black, and he said he never noticed it until I said something. But he understands what Im saying, as well as a few other people I know.

I challenge someone to find a recent MC Donald's commercial that doesn't have a minority or someone acting like one. (i.e. white kid that looks like a gangsta)

I'm all for diversity but when most of the population is not a minority (hence the name minority) and EVERY goddamn commercial has one (usually more) in it, well it seems weird.

You know a company sucks when their commercials try to sell you something based on lifestyle instead of the merits of the product.

This is not that new however. The last round of airtime wasters was fairly blatant as well. One had a guy freestyling about their food. One had a DJ and his friends fiendin for a burger at like 3 in the morning after a night of spinnin/clubbin. I haven't seen the Hispanic one, and probably won't. Not many around here.

What are the commercials in the rural white areas like? Anyone live there and know? I can picture a bunch of highschool football stars going out in their new supercrew pickups on a Friday after a game.

Wouldn't it be funny if they showed a Mcdonald's commercial with an old black guy in the hospital? He would be on a bunch of machines to keep him alive because he had heart disease from eating McDonald's. He would slowly move his head towards the camera and gasp, "Yo yo yo....I'm lovin' it."

I actually stopped going to mcdonalds back in the day, because they used rap in their commercial. I refuse to buy anything that endorses stupidity (in this case, rap)
