85 degrees and humid as hell. A warm terrarium works, maybe a cooler with a 10% bleach soaked towel on the bottom.

When I was incubating my jars I put them into an opaque plastic storage container (not transparent) which I filled 1/3 way with distilled water & some peroxide to cut chances of contams. Then I stuck an aquarium heater on the inside under the water line and set it at about 80-85*F.

Make sure that the jars are in their own sealed container which can float on the surface of the water, BUT you have to drill a few holes (I did 3 on each side) right under the lip of the plastic jar container, just down from the lid - this allows the warm, humid air to circulate evenly around your jars while they stay dry and dark.

I had no problems at all doing it this way, and colonised 6 1/2 pints in 10 days without trouble, bright white like they are supposed to be!
Good luck....if I can do it anyone can...;)
