Kava Toxicity
    #3700054 - 01/29/05 10:53 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Anyone have a link to the report that came out recently announcing that Kava had little to no hepatoxicity?

Thanks!

Making the noise "penicillin" is no substitute for actually taking penicillin.

I heard the only non standardized extracts are bad for yer liver but the fresh root is supposed to be okay....I`m not sure I believe it, anything that i can taste on my breath that strongly is deffinately effecting my liver and im not entirely sure its in a good way....

Well I'm not entirely sure your logic is correct here, hehe, but do you or anyone happen to know where this report might be found? I'm trying to convince someone (a cynic...just my luck), that it is in fact safe, and that the older studies have been disproved.

Thanks!

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

Hehe, thanks, I'm finding a large number of abstracts and briefs on these reports but most of the sites require some sort of paid membership to access the entire report.

Greedy bastards!
