Maybe that's what gets him off? Some people are into weird things.

Anyhow, I would just move the stuff into my car trunk for the day in question. Though I live on campus and rarely drive my car. If you have to do a lot of driving, then it's not a good idea to have incriminating stuff in the car (obviously). If you have a storage closet on the balcony, then that might be a better place than having it in your closet.

You're going to put all of this stuff in your car one night(easier to move things like this at night). Then, the next day(you're less likely to be pulled over) you temporarily place these....questionable items somewhere where nobody would look.

Sorry,I wasn't trying to derail this thread.I was just giving some advice on why apartments are bad news.
Anyway, it would probably be a good idea to remove anything you can get into legal trouble over.
I know it's a pain in the ass but better safe than sorry.

i just locked the door with the little chain lock and then pretended like i was asleep. so even when they do unlock the deadbolt the chain gets 'em and you know they're not gonna break it.

My landlord had to get into my apartment yesterday to turn off the main water valve so a pluber could do some work on the unit upstairs. My living room has two large fishtanks a couple of rubbermaid bins.... nothing suspicious there!

Once a year at my place they come thru adn test the fire alarms and takea quick peek around. Just maken sure we are not trashing the place. They never gothru any thing and it only took like a minture.
