ooh, good one. Central air is key. I use cable net, so shouldn't that be available everywhere?

Probably, but not necessarily. Speed and availability can vary so if it's important to you I'd double-check with the landlord.

Of all the things to forget to check when I we picked our apartment, I never turned on the shower to see how the water pressure was. Now my days begin in misery.

I need to take the shower head off the pipe and remove the water restrictor to begin with.
Where does the lowflow valve get installed exactly?

Quiet. I am the lightest sleeper ever. If it's noisy, I can't live there. Also, safety, bug free, and nice.

I go with quietness and privacy.
I have a pretty large home theatre system, so basically I want it quiet when I need it to be, but also to rock the system when I want. Thus, I've found carriage apartments to be ideal. Right now, I live behind an older guy's mansion. He converted the old carriage house into an apt./garage. I have the whole thing with no neighbors. All my problems solved.
What sucks is I'll be moving to a larger city soon. THat'll prob. force me to live in a traditional apt. complex.

Did you grow up in NYC, or just attend school there? I personally don't like big cities like NYC. Too much hustle and bustle for me, although there is a lot to do there.

Craziness. I stayed in NYC for 3 days, and slept for only a couple hours. The city noise drove me crazy
Lots of awesome stuff in the city though.

I'm the opposite.. I like crickets chirping and owls noises.
I guess it all depends on what you're used to.

Well that is a relief I suppose. It's definitely helping me feel better. My chest really hurts from coughing so much.

I am looking for a full hose to rent. I am willing to spend about 1500 a month. I am looking for a two car garage, full basement, and atleast 4 bedrooms. Preferably a farm house but if i have to go urban i will.

location is #1. I dont want to live out in the middle of nowhere or some boring neighborhood. I need everything within walking/biking distance because I do not drive. close to an el stop is also important.
restaurants, recordshops, boutiquettes, bank, grocery stores, coffeeshops, bars, and venues all need to be within walking distance. life is way more exciting that way.
I'm like OMR - I prefer a loud city.

Big closets, big bathroom. Lots of sunshine.
I've lived in too many dark little basement apartments, sunshine is KEY.
Storage space is good too. Doesn't even have to huge.
Good landlords. If your landlord is a dick, it makes for the bad experience. My last landlady was a nosy old cunt. Walking in with repair monkeys while I was sleeping...or in the shower.

I would oneday like a huge flagstone patio with 3 or 4 foot peaces of stone. With a huge slab for a diving board. with a nice reflection pool of to the back in the mix of things.
