I just moved to Bellingham Washington and I have also just found out that i am in a good area for finding wild psilocybes! My main reason for this post is to ask if there are any other around this area who have had any good finds. I also wanted to find out what types are common around bellingham. I am just getting into reading about psilocybes so this might sound like a dumb question but, are there any psilocybes growing this time of year? I have hella mushrooms in my front yard but have yet to determine the species. Anyone around the area gimme a holler if ya wanna chat about shrooms or maybe other psychodelics. Peace!
then do some research on your own, you obviously need to. the main season is as good as done, so take your time, learn what you're looking for and maybe you'll find some in the fall.
3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
4. Do NOT ask what mushrooms can be found growing in your state or imediate area
This information is easily found in the Mushroom Hunting FAQ and/or has been posted at least once elsewhere on the net.
