Whoa.... what a helpful site!!!! a goldmine of info...
jus curious to Western Washington area worth checkin out for shrooms? any of these possibilities....?
whidbey island, bellingham, or san juan islands???
also is June a little to early to start lookin? what would be the best time?
I luv the outdoors, and enjoy hiking and explorin...would just takin a hike around some wooded areas and cow pastures be best way of starting out huntin shrooms.
also am i right in saying the best time for pickin is a day or few after the rain ....at night???

OJ your persistance at finding mushies around here is pretty cool. THere is not much point in trying to find anything around here much before september. I guess it is possible to find some fimentari or stunzii but thats a long shot before the fall season. Best bet right now would be some pan subs but its prolly not worth the effort. As promised tho i will show you liberty caps this fall if you can drive to meet me somewhere. I will extend that to anyone else who wants to find some. Liberty caps are dime a dozen in the pac northwest come fall its a just a matter of knowing how to find them as they are illusive without a trained eye.

Well theres only 3 months left till september. The weather last season was pretty shitty as far as rainfall is concerned but i think this fall will have massive amounts of rainfall. I got no problem showing people what a liberty cap looks like and what it doesnt and where to find them. You gotta start somewhere and the liberty cap is the place to start. Finding cyans however......that is another story all together =)

I put my mushrooms in black blastic from Nana's so they are warm by the time I get home. And I hate stupid people because I get tired of quickly of jabber.
