does any one know if drug dogs are regularly trained to smell shrooms or is it not that likely? also does anyone see that growing in a dorm room would be a big problem ? thanks peace!!

No dogs are trained to smell shrooms, not enough traffic to warant training. There is no reason not to grow them in your dorm room, but there is also no reason to let them be seen in your dorm room. Paranoia pays off. Be anal.

reply... i grew shrooms in my dorm room for a little over two years without a hitch, I had a couple of close calls with random room inspections, just because i like to leave evidence out in the open... exacto knife, bunsen burner... etc... etc... but dogs never so much as looked in the direction of my room... my only advice would be to keep your drug use on the d/l and not to tell anyone about your operation. You would be suprised what a starving college student would do for a little extra cash, which a lot of dorms will offer people who nark other students out in the kinds of situations. Good Luck !!! ;-)

This is half true... very few police drug dogs are trained to find shrooms... for the reason you give. I trained my friends dog to sniff out several drugs, shrooms included. She (the dog) can find MJ, shrooms (dry, never tested/trained with fresh), and coke. I donno how she compares to a normal police dog, but she has to be pretty close to the source to detect it. If I put some in a shoe, she has to get right on the shoe before she indicates a hit. She also has to be led... she wouldn't search an entire room by herself... you kind of have to direct her to the areas you want her to sniff in or she gets distracted... again, I don't know how this compares to a normal police dog either.
