Lowered prices on spore prints from The Hawks Eye

We have lowered our prices on all cubensis prints to $20 each. They use to be $20 to $24 each but they are all set to the same price now. As always, very LARGE dark clean vialbe spore prints. Currently we have an overstock on the Tasmania cubensis prints so we are offering those for $15 each.
We would like to hear any feedback from any customers that have received any cubensis spore prints from us in the last 4-6 months.
thanks

That is still too much for a print.

Prints from Vendors are not only sterlie, but they have been grown and isolated many times to get you an agressive and high quality mushroom strain.
People forget sometimes that the vendors domesticate wild prints and isolate the most aggressive growths to make sure when you get your print you have a kick ass strain.
$20 is a good deal, if you don't think it is you must not appreciate the work Vendors do for this community.

If I was going to buy a print, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment before ordering from Ryche.
He is an established vendor with a great line of strains.

LOL Thor.
Everyone is falling over themselves to get my newly domesticated strain as we speak.
Dont lecture me about the vending business, or tell me how difficult it is to isolate a fruiting strain. It aint hard, it just takes time.
Enough said.

BTW, there are potentially thousands of strains in each print.
They isolate for print size and spore deposit more than anything else.
Prints are not pure strains.
But you already knew that.

Are you kidding Mr. Fryd? If they only isotated strains that grew big caps and produced more spores than average nobody would buy them. But I'm sure you knew that.

If it wasn't for spore vendors, like ryche, sporeworks, mushmush, etc..... This hobby wouldn't be 1/10th of what it is today! These guys get strains from all over the world and make them viable and sterile for joe average cultivator.
Yes there are those cultivators who are damn good at what they do and can do the same as vendors.... But how many of them would be willing to give out or trade thousands of prints? Alot of people hate to give out addresses, yet these guys make a business out of this. Sorry but you obviously don't see what everyone else sees, that the vendors are here yes to make money, but most importantly to spread the spores above all else..

Just from my early experience with mushroom cultivation I can see that anyone who has a business in the circulation of mushroom spores HAVE TO HAVE A LOVE for these incredible gifts from nature FIRST and the money part of the operation is only a means of continuing to do what they love in the first place. My hats off to all of you who bring to us these wonderful new strains along with your knowledge and experience.

From the majority of posts here, that is exactly what they are selecting for. Size of cap, and degree of printing. MAN THOSE PRINTS ARE HUGE AND DARK. But of course the larger and darker they are, the better they did in the environment they were grown, so I don't think that is a problem, it is a good thing. Worrying about individual strains ( Dikaryons) is for someone who can legally trade or sell cultures. I think Hawk has said they multispore substrate and select from the best to multispore again, he doesn't seem to interested in isolation of strains, but developing or domesticating spore races. HE IS A SPORE VENDOR, not a culture vendor.

Remember that Spores are like Sperm and it only takes one spore to start the thread of life (mycelia). Thus the hawk brings to all a good print and as all know who have ordered from him his prints are some of the best int he world and from all over the world.
I personally endorse his price drop and hope that many of you will benifit from this joyous offer of heavy dark-chocolate prints THe Hawk is making available to you all. Not everyone knows the that the hawks prints are viable and come from a sterile environment and are worthy of even the most amatuer of cultivators

One spore will start a thread of hyphae but it woln't do much except colonise substrate. What I reccomend is 2 spores one of the + sex and one of the - sex. Then they will meet and mate/fuse forming diploid hyphae that will fruit and thus will be the real thread of life.

I have never had any problems with Rhyche. He offers quality prints. 20 bucks is a good price for a "guaranteed" good print. You get what you pay for.
Best of luck to you, Rhyche.
