Your "Chantrelle buttons" aren't. They're actually a type of coral mushroom, Clavariadelphus truncatus. If you sample a small piece of one you will discover that they are sugary sweet. They are one of the few mushrooms that are OK to eat raw.

The Hygrocybes resemble any of a bunch of species. We need to know things like what parts are slimy/sticky and if the cap is bitter tasting to get to species without a microscope.

Nice photos and specimens.

Happy mushrooming!

Thanks for the IDs, I do consider myself a photographer first and a mushroom enthusiast second, your knowledge is very appreciated.
The Clavariadelphus truncatus have always been found within chantrelle patches by myself, so I figured them for small chans, I have never picked them or eaten them. I have never found them in my books before(probably didnt look to hard) I did notice that they didn't have any distinct gills like chantrelles.
