Cake questions

A FOAF has 8 cakes birthed 3 days ago. He has counted 18 pins throughout the cakes so far and zero abhorts (so far). The question is he noticed some fuzzy, cottony white mycelium billowing out from areas on a couple of the cakes. Everything else seems fine. Digital humidity gauge reads 96%, temp 78 degrees. No fuzz on the pins themselves. I would appreciate a veterans analysis. Thanks.

Don't tell me this question is too hard for you guys. Let me elaborate. I have been reading conflicting threads about this fuzz. Some say the humidity is too low, others say it is too high. So which one is it? My terrariums are air tight, perlite humidification, and aquarium air pump running at 3 hour intervals for 15 minutes at a time.
