Spent cakes question

I've been putting my spent cakes in my compost bin. Does anyone know if this adds any nutrients to my compost? Is there any chance of mycylium rebirth once the spent cakes are around food again? Will Cubenis grow in actively decomposing compost. My compost is made up mostly from dead leaves of various types and table scraps(no meat).

eat your cakes, maybe you'll trip from the mycelium.

What's the point of eating cakes if they've already been spent? Is there anything left in them?

Don't eat your cakes. You don't want vermiculite in your system. It'll wreak havoc.

I get plenty of roughage from veggies, I don't need that gravel chewing up my guts.

To answer the question. The spent cakes will add a very small amount of nutrients to the compost, but nothing anywhere near noticeable. The mycelium of the spent cakes won't colonize in actively decomposing compost. The heat can get too high, and the pH is off. Don't bother with eating the cakes. If you have some finished dung based compost just mix your spent cakes into it in an outdoor bed, and the mycelium will spread through the compost and grow mushies for your enjoyment. Aslong as the mycelium is completely dead(dried out completely)

is it okay to eat spent cakes made of finch seed? i dont use very much vermiculite, like one cup for every four cups of steeped finch seed. i wouldnt think that fich seed would be too good for you either, and from what ive heard there isnt alot of psilocybin in cakes, especially spent ones. what is this cranberry extraction thing hes talking about?
