 Help! Sticky Cakes

Once the cakes were colonized for about a week I tried to take them out, but they were stuck to the sides of the jar! I tried tapping, leaving upside-down, and pleading with the jars, but they would not let go. What should I do, will cutting around them bruise them so they won't fruit?

It sounds like a sticky situation.
Just wait a few days more the mycelium tends to squeeze the cake and pull away from the sides of the jars just be patient

And if that still doesn't work of if you get very impatien't you can carefully crack the jar with a nail
+ hammer if you are careful. If you just turn it upsidown? and with a sterilized nail crack through the bottom of the jar. Your cake may get a bit injured but it will live.

quite frankly, thats about the stupidest thing i've ever heard sugested... just wait till the mycelium consumes the nutrients and makes the cake shrink like he said....

Odd_Snail your heart was in the right place trying to help out. But your head was in crackville, Please do not offer suggestions like that people will take you serious and it's all fun and games until someone get's there eye poked or (or loses a finger)
NEVER GET THAT IMPATIENT. If you do not have the patients to wait a few more days then you need a new hobby.
People be patient don't go hitting jars with a hammer it is not safe.
