good thing they didn't run the tag though... who knows what would have come up..
no idea what the check engine light could mean.. could mean a million different things.
heh.. I have a ticket for 99 in a 70 I have to pay in brevard county.. blah

Anyways.. paul and peggy been alright.. no craziness or outburts yet.. been fairly pleasant and nice to me so far. Though I haven't exactly been hanging around there much. Mostly at the library or randy's when I'm not at work.. just go there to sleep.

so just let me know through pm or something when you are planning on coming back down and I can tell you a few things to check on the engine before you leave.. should be fine though.

damn.. you have to come all the way down here for a speeding ticket... At least you get to go to the marietta court instead of downtown atlanta.. Was your ticket in fulton county?

About that court date...
I dunno how they do it in Georgia but I know in some states, and shroomism can tell you this, he was from VA at one time I think. Right? Anyways, in some states they give you a court date and it's not mandatory. You only have to appear if you want to dispute the charge. Otherwise just mail in the fine and you're good to go. Hope this is the case for GA, though I'm not sure.

the officer will let you know when he issues a ticket whether you have to show up or not... well, normally they do...

in most states you can pre-pay minor traffic tickets through the mail.. or show up to court. then the fine doubles if you don't pay it.

In Ohio you can pay with a credit card while the cop is at your window.
