What was the worst gift you ever gave and received?
It's way after the fact. You can admit that a gift you gave, in hindsight, was absolutely horrible.
Worst give i received was a blunt rolled with roaches from this dude(huge pothead) i knew, and i don't even smoke weed....But at least the kid thought of me.... I just gave lit it up and gave it back to him...

2 years ago my roommate and my parents each gave me a set of sheets & blankets. I mean, you can never have too many blankets, but that wasn't a real exciting X-Mas for me.

Well I asked my rather wealthy father for a telescope so I could better observe the stars when I was younger (16ish) and He got me the most cheapass piece of shit ever.
literally I walked down the street in my town and I saw it in a toy shop window for £20. That motherfucker.

I have some really cheap in-laws and once received some pajamas.
I'm a pretty good shopper and recognize crap when I see it, so I can honestly say I give some damn nice gifts.

The irony of Christmas: When I was a kid, I'd always be annoyed at opening up another pack of socks / underwear / etc.
Now that I'm older and moved out, I'd LOVE to get lots of underwear and socks for Christmas - but never do :P. Getting GOOD socks / boxers / etc can add up really fast unless your buying bargain-bin quality stuff. And, IMO - underwear is oen thing worth spending a little bit extra on.
(Despite moving out when I was 19, now 24, and living on my own - I still get spoiled at Christmas every year)

I was about 14 i think and my father gave me a pen for christmas(one that i saw lying in a drawer for the last 4 years), wouldn't mind, but it didn'T even work. Made me angry to look over at my half sisters from his new marriage get some big extravagant gifts.
Looking back it was a stupid thing to get angry about it for the reasons i did, these days i see it as a form of insult. Told him after that christmas that he never had to give me a present, and that i'd prefer no present to some random junk he found in a drawer.
Worst present i'Ve given: I was bout 6/7, made a big huge battlefield type thing for my mother with little pop up soldiers, lying in blood with arms and legs lying around the place, and then a sign in the background half blown up, saying "merry christmas, good tidings to all" she kept it for a good few years, and i couldn'T help but laugh at the irony of the whole thing once i could understand it. ^_^

No shit - I think that's how you know you're getting old. I got some warm-ass socks one X-Mas that I would never have thought to buy for myself.
