h2o2 question

I have hydrogenperoxide on brown small 100 ml bottles. I store them in the fridge. When I have opened one bottle and are not using the entire bottle and put it back in the fridge, does the h2o2 stays good for long? I heard it breaks down pretty quickly.

I am also unsure on how much h2o2 to use when I dunk my cakes, the strenght on the bottles is 10% , I heard you should use 1 part h2o2 and 10 parts water but I wonder if this goes for 3% solution. Some advice on this would be most appriciated

as long as it's got the cap on and it's in a dark place it should keep for a long time.

The standard bottle on this side of the pond is 3% h2o2. Just get / use a larger dark container, pour yours in & add about 200 ml water -then use 10 to 1 ratio water for dunking.

Whoa there Green_Snake. If your bottle says 10%, you have some damned powerful stuff there. Folks around here are starting with 3% and diluting to .3%

If you really have that high an octane, use one part of that and 29 parts of water.
