Wollongongs now ready! *PIC*
    #353159 -

Yes, the new Wollongong strain from south of Sydney, Australia, is now ready!

At last, a cubensis that doesn't look like 'just another cub'. This one has a creamy yellow stalk and grows very tall. I once saw pics of two-foot tall cubs south of Perth, these may be similiar. I bet a good outdoor dung tek would produce shrooms at least a foot high!

Here's a pic courtesy of Archangel, more on the way:

Another exclusive strain, available only at the SporeLab!

That casing looked like crap. If you are going to sell spores atleast show some mature looking mushrooms from a decent flush. My tapeworm could do better than that, and he literally lives in a contam infested shithole.

You're an idiot tom.

Those are the FIRST Wollongongs grown 'in captivity'. I don't give a damn how they look or what you say, they are the FIRST and deserve to have their pictures taken. More pics coming and I don't give a damn if you like them or not.

Max... that pic is PATHETIC , and to think i was going to organize a bus ride to save your crappy little Mt.Elpine. Your right that it doesn't look like any other cubie, it looks like MOST cubies grown by an AMATEUR. Is all that stuff you have on your site really BULLSHIT??? Should i have even cared about those loggers tearing your mountain down???? I don't know, but maybe, since your and "Environmental Superhero" you can answer my questions. Thanks and keep it up, you know it costs a pretty penny to send a bunch of people to canada or where ever the hell Mt. Elpine is .

well i don't want to dis max... but that point about not looking like any other cubby is complete bullshit  that is one of the first thing i noticed about most cubensis races... when they form as developed pins (such as in the pic) they nearly ALL look exactly the fucken same! the only really obvious difference is in full caps...

and for all you ppl dissin the name "wollongong" (well one i think  fucken slow down! wollongong is a cool place. about 1.5 - 2 hours south of sydney. lots of cool ppl, lots of subculture, lots of different types of psilocybes and other active mushrooms. chinese cult my ass

Max I can understand where you are coming from, I know that it is exciting to see the first pins on a starin you have domesticated yourself.
I know you have spent a bit of time with that strain. I would be excited to as sson as I saw pins and would probably post a pic to, not taking into cosideration the looks of the casing and so on.
I am glad you got it to pin and I hope you have some very beautiful harvest pics to post when you are done.

AND tom, I'm so happy that your tapeworm can do a better job at casing. He's probably had more experience with SHIT than I have.

Don?t send Max pictures, let him grow his own and take some good pictures finaly of his own grown shrooms. He didn?t manage to do this yet.
And considering a multispore innoculation and the fact that you are a beginner, the flush is not that bad.
It would be bad if it came from Max though with his experience.

And, when doing photos, especially with a digital camera, shoot a few more photos of the same scene from different angles and with different lighting and then pick the good one(s) for publishing. Your picture is really crappy.
