40gal first-time pan cyan tank?

Hi guys. I haven't been on here in about two years, which was the last time I grew. I grew some pc gold coast and b+ for 4 months using the mmgg. I'm looking to grow again.

This time, I'm going to grow pan cyans. This will be my first attempt at pan cyans, although I used to hunt them in Hawaii. I'm not afraid to fail, but I also don't want to experiment a whole lot if it can be avoided.

So how do I grow the most potent pan cyans possible?
What will I need to buy? Here's what I have: a 40 gal agaurium with sealed plexi lid; a 100w aquarium heater; an undergravel filter and pump for this size aquarium; thermometer; a pressure cooker w/o pressure gauge. I am planning to start by using the tank as an incubator (or use a smaller 10 gal) - I was going to use filter discs w/ 1/2" holes in my jars, starting with 2 dozen jars (go big or go home, as they say) and 5 pan cyan syringes from tHE. I am going to use the pump for humidification. From there, I don't have a plan.
btw, I'll be using a closet that sits around 65 degrees, so I will be needing that heater I assume, and I'm in CO, where it is very dry too.

Sweet. I read all of that. All in all, it was fairly general, though - not as specific as the mmgg. I have a question: Do I want to use jars? One of the teks said not to.
