My gf hates it, but then she hates hearing songs like RHCP songs cause thats wot the ol' bf liked.

I sometimes listen to metal these days, used to a lot. generally moving as far away from the "metal scene", or any scene for that matter, as possible. definitely wouldn't call myself a metalhead as that's usually synonymous with being a meathead.

I won't bother namedropping any bands as I've already pointed out a lot of bands in Shroomism's Metal Guide thread in the art/lit forum. it'd be pointless, as you probably haven't heard or heard of most of them. anyway.

total head here.  everything from zeppelin, sabbath, early anthrax and van halen.. BLS, slayer, pantera, early metallica, megadeth(early megadeth + the system has failed).. testament, exodus.. for those of you who consider Tool metal( i personally don't ).. i never really dug Damageplan until Dime's death(sadly, but it's true).. now that he's gone, I gave it a second chance and it's a pretty good record.

shadows fall.. great band.  the war within=an amazing record.  get that shit asap.

i'd really like Lamb of God but im not a fan of Randy's vocal style.. at all.  the same goes for bands like Atreyu(sp??)



hands down, the heaviest metal album ever is Far Beyond Driven.  i'm not saying this cuz dime's dead, i've always said this.  Long Live Metal~
