FINK for Linux?
    #3508672 -

What program can I install on my x86 linux box that works just like FINK? From what im reading FINK is only for OS X.

Thanks, Fungi_x.

P.S I'm running Mandrake 10.1 Powerpack

If I understand that correctly, FINK is a port of Debian's APT for MacOS. If that's the case, apt-rpm should be a reasonable facsimile for Mandrake.

I found a repository for Mandrake RPMs here.
http://ftp.uninett.no/pub/linux/apt/

Note that Mandrake is not the best distro to use for this kind of package management, because RPMs are different for each RPM-based distribution and as far as I know, Mandrake doesn't run an official repository.
