50/50 verm peat, how much lime?

I am going to case with 50/50 peat and verm. I am probably going to use 2 cups of peat and 2 cups of verm. How much and what kind of lime should i use. I have seen ratios, but dont really understand. I need an exact measurement. Thanks

the recipe is for 31 cups of peat and verm. so if your using 4 cups. 4 goes into 31 7.75 times. 1.2 cups of lime for 31 cups. so divide that by 7.75 and you get .15 cups of lime. you use hydrated lime.

if your new to casing id reccomend using crushed oyster shells as a buffer instead of lime, its much more forgiving. good luck.
