Tripping and fasting?

As most people do, I usually end up eating a lot of stuff after smoking. I mean, a lot. But it's soooo good
Then, not so long ago, I decided to not eat anything during a trip. Nothing.
People were eating around me and throwing me weird looks, but I didn't care. I wanted to do it.
Hungerness came and went and I must say that at times it was pretty tough to control. I took juice when I was thirsty, but that's it.
But then it went away and I felt really good. My mind was clearer than usual. Not having to digest food also let me trip for a good 6 hours without feeling sleepy at all.
In the end, it was a very interesting experience.
My parents will be gone in the next weeks (I'm 18 btw) and I intend to put this time to good use.
So my question is: Have any of you guys ever fasted for like 1,2 or 3 days while smoking? How was your experience?
If you guys have any comments, please feel free to post them

I usually fast before I plan to trip, I go without food for at least 12 hours beforehand. I have nothing but water, sometimes coffee or tea (because I am a caffeine junky). There are times, such as hiking and camping, when I need to eat for stamina, but even then I try to keep it to a minimum.
I make sure to have some decent snacks on hand to eat during the trip like fruits- especially citrus. And I try to plan out a good meal for afterwards; there is nothing better than a nice big breakfast after spending the night tripping and some Zen-sleep. You never realize how hungry you are until you start eating; what a wonderful feeling it is to finally fill back up.
I find that I get more out of the shrooms by having nothing in my stomach, I feel them sooner and longer than those around me. It's easy to quiet a rumbling belly while you are tripping, just distract yourself (and we all know how easy that can be).

Fasting helps a lot but not so much for smoking. Only for real tripping.
It seems smoking increases digestion but trippin' seems to put digestion on pause.

Food just tastes wierd to me while tripping. The whole process takes too much effort.

Well! I mean!
You absolutely should fast, always and every time, before tripping. At least a day, but 2-3 is better. You ain't getting drunk or smoking dope, you're altering your reality. You want your system clean so you don't have any baggage. Ever notice during a trip how persistent and unpleasant calls of nature are (not on X, 'course)? If you fast, you will have a lighter, higher, soaring trip and will find it easier to relax since your earth-body isn't fucking around trying to digest and process.
It's also great to do yoga, meditate, pray, dance, or whatever you do to get to that spiritual bit before you actually trip; the more the better as you will take good vibes and a clear, calm mind into the trip as a result. I have shitty luck trying to do yoga during my trip, but a lot of people really enjoy it... too complicated for me, I prefer to lie down and/or dance spastically :)
