I think anyone who listens to TOOL has heard of them. The similarities aren't subtle.

On topic - I like them, I'll get you some good tracks give me a second.

I have one of the newer KC albums, and I listened to it on 700mg of DXM. I felt like I was in some strange medieval space land. Heh, there goes the prog-rock nerd in me again!

I actually have ALBUMS of King Crimson (yes I am that old).

For CDs, check out In The Court Of The Crimson King and Islands. Both have been remastered by Robert Fripp (guitarist) as 30 year anniversary editions. In The Court Of 30th year CD is unusual as the CD case is just like the original album cover, cardboard and no plastic, but smaller. The CD slides into a liner which slides into the "album" cover, quite unique.

Also the CD Lizard is good as well.

"Kids these days.........What are ya gonna do?"

Crank up some Led Zep just like they do?

What I don't understand about the "younger generation" is the attraction to piercings and tattoos. I hate needles and the idea of paying someone to hurt me with one does NOT appeal.

Not only have I heard of them, I saw them live during the "Lark's Tongues in Aspic" tour in the early Seventies while ripped to the tits on some righteous Orange Double Barrel LSD.

An excellent concert.

Sweet! Larks Tounge in Aspic is one of my favorite albums.
Must of been a sweet show. Robert Fripp is a music genius.

My favorite KC songs are

21st Century Schizoid Man
Cat Food
Epitaph

They are an awesome band. I have a 2-LP collection of some of their best songs and rare/live outtakes. It's called "The Young Persons Guide to King Crimson". I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard them before.
