Hello shroomers, So I went for a morning walk in my hometown to get some coffee and started finding these mushrooms (pictured in "attachment"). Found 'um in nicely manicured grass at the Municiple Center and the police station lawns. First I saw them and thought Panaeolus castaneifolius. Then remembered im in Illinois (further north) and Panaeolus foenisecci probably grows this far north. Panaeolus castaneifolius are said to grow throughout most of North and South Americas.. No noticeable bluing to them, not yet at least. They must not be magic.. Check out da pics and give me some feedback on these a.s.a.p please! :)

Those look exactly like the mushies I've been finding in yards everywhere. I think they're Paneolina foenisecci, but I'm not positive. If they are they're not active. BTW, aren't you goin travelin now and eventually making your way to Seattle? If so when are you gonna be there? I'd love to hook up with ya and show you some patches 'round here.

Probably Pan. foenisecii, take a print and if its foenisecii it should drop a dark brown print, not black like castaneifolius. They are safe to eat either way, so if you don't want to wait for a print.... :) Hey GG, just tried a weilii I found today fresh for the first time, just one nice one and I'm feeling good :) Taste isn't all that bad at all.

ugg, i can still taste the two i ate the other night and i think im still sorta tripping on um. Got about 8 or 9 of um in the fridge here, but those two i ate seemed to satisfy my need for psilocin, yeah i think ill be alright for a weil or i mean in for a while. Anyhow, ive found these mushrooms pictured in this post all over peoples lawns today, theyre not active.

Hello captn, been a while since I've seen you in the hunting forum. GGreatOne wasn't talking about eating to of these inactive pans, he was talking about eating two weiliis a couple night ago, and that my friend certainly is enougn to start feeling good.

Capt Max, I know of that fact. Funny but several years back, abotu ten, Lynn and Judy Osbourne, writing under the pseudonym of Brolyn, wrote and article in High Times, centerfold feature of America's Home harvest Mushroom about Panaeolina foenisecii being the freest High mushrom in America. I lectured with them at Chapman University in Orange County in LA in 1994 and failed to asked them about the BS article they sold to HIgh Times. Another strange happening. I found another Dutch website where the owner of Sjamaan claimes he smokes magic mushrooms and gets ripped. Like Panaeolina foeisecii. This would not be true also. have a shroomy day, mj
