can you just use an aquarium for chamber?

sorry for asking this dumb question, but can you? I'm sure it would make for viewing the mushrooms a lot easier (i.e. making sure everything's going ok, etc) What's the best grow chamber? This is my first time growing soon, I want something easy.

Not a stupid question bro. YES, you can use an aquarium, but you'll need to make a tight fitting lid so the RH and temps stay where you need them.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, people take prozac to make it normal.

so what would you use as a chamber, ideally? then what would you use if you were on a semi budget?

Just use the aquarium. It'll work just fine. Monkey uses an upside-down sterilite. Upside-down? Yes, upside-down. It makes for easier air exchange and, when the 'bottom' is removed, good pics can be taken.

Anything that you can control the humidity in will work fine. Nice to have overhead transparency to give the shrooms light from above, but not necessary.

I think Nushrooms friends chamber would be the ideal chamber in my opinion. And a sterilite container for those on a low budget.
