Sounds like it to me that the asshole felt you were incringing on his ego tripping. He planted those emails. He knew that you , a self respecting individual with pride, would succumb to confronting him & quit.

Don't leave without talking to your superiors (above him or HIS boss)hopefully you still have the emails.

If you do not nip his scammin ass in the bud he will continue to do this, and possibly be promoted. Also the other party involved should be investigated too!

The repricusions of his actions could effect you later on I.E references for your next job --- this guy will screw you BIG time.

I am serious, arrange a meeting with the haed hauncho or call your employee hotline.

It feels sooooooo Good to be able to grow a nice big beard and longer hair. I couldn't do that at my previous job ( The one I just Quit ). I am happy now that I can wear whatever I want to work aswell.

Yes, definitely be sure to put down on future apps. only names of bosses who you KNOW will give you a good referal. It's a good idea to stick just with the ones who have told you they would give you a good reference and that you honestly feel you were/are friends with. I have sucessfully quit ONE job in my history of 7 different employers, I've been fired a lot. But I have no problems starting over because the people who I put down as referals, I knew well at work and I KNEW I could trust to give me a good word. Remember, they can't ask why you got fired from your reference... only if that person would refer you to another company.
