    #3393906 - 11/21/04 07:37 PM (12 years, 19 days ago)

i have been reading in all the teks that the air filter must remain dry. my question is - how is this possible ? when i pc my bags the filter gets wet and kinda shrivels a little. is there a way to prevent this and is it absolutely neccessary? thanks everyone

The filter patch should remain as dry as possible. If NOT, you greatly increase the chance of a contam wicking into the bag through the moisture on the outside of the filter patch. When you remove bag from PC, it should still be a bit warn & exterior moisture should evaporate - quickly.

Use sterile gauze to wipe off any visible exterior moisture. That should do it.
