contamination
    #338980 - 06/12/01 07:45 AM (22 years, 5 months ago)

This is my first try at cultivation, I got excited when a jar started pinning and I opened it. Now my cake has some dark green spots on it. Can it be saved? How do I save it? Thanks.

Did you birth the cake? Are the spots definitley green or are they blue? If you birthed the cake and touched it, then it could be blueing from when you touched the cake. If you have not birthed it, and the spots ARE green, it's contams and i would toss the cake.

I've got nicotine stains on my fingers.

Thanks, Hegz. It is contamination. I am not birthing my cakes.
Its my first try so I am using an easy method. My cake was doing fine, then I opened the jar to pick off a primordia. Now the remaining pins turned black and the cake has green spots.
Is the picked primordia safe to eat?
