Which method for best yield?

I know i know, common question...
but anyhow, i want to do a casing method, but i want a casing method that is going to work. I tried bulk growing from hay, but it just ended up getting green mold ontop of the mycelium =/
Is it worth casing again or should i just stick to perlite and cakes? If you think i really should try casing again (it will be my third attempt at it), which method should i follow to get the best results? (balancing yield vs contamination problems)
Thanks alot guys
(i'm growing equadorians right now)

My first time i tried the 50/50 tek , was 50% successful. now i have 10 seperate casings of 50/50 + tek.all are going well.If you follow the tek & actually give a good effort to be sterile you should be at least somewhat successfull. My first casing ever was a 5X8 tin and produced 1/4dry on the first flush.
Just keep at it..........l

How about a 50/50 casing mix of vermiculite and coir? Apparently the coir works great for alot of people but it's dries out, so the spongy vermiculite will keep the coir hydrated and contaminate free.

AFOAF prefers quarts and dung or straw but to get the maximum yeild per square foot the "bulk cake" tek is the best for maximum yeild per square foot. The only downside to it is
that you have to buy alot of half pint jars and a syringe for each box you are going to innoculate. If you have any questions let me know, but all the pictures went down with the demise of drool donkey.

hey bro, I dont have any piks but I could draw up some plans. What I can tell you is that back in the day w' 22 boxes of half pints My friend* was able to produce about 1 1/2 lbs of dry mushies out of only 2 rubermaid containers. This was before the dunk tek which I am sure would increase yeilds.

The best for me so far is something I've worked with. Its just 50/50+ with some composted manure, so its more like 30/30/30. pretty damn good.

looks SPOOKY ... But it's a pretty "ingenious" idea. Me Monkeys took a look and said after they flushed those for the 1st time they would lay them flat and cover them with some MANURE. Lovely pics tho. And thanks for re-posting good info! peace
